This is so much better to watch than last year. You know teams are loaded ahead of us but there is light at then end of the tunnel.
ehh the game might go differently too though, I think Maryland stretched that lead and then went to sleep letting RU cut the gap
The team plays their *** off. They just have no shooters. A couple of shooters changes everything.

They need to work on that desperately--only no naked free throw shooting practices at the RAC
It's almost unfair. They play hard, hustle, never give up, rebound like madmen, play smothering defense, and their crazy athletic. They just can't put the ball in the hoop.

MD got half their points in a 12 minutes stretch in the end of the 1st and being in of 2nd
I have to give this team credit for fighting hard for 40 minutes.
Good effort, defense, rebounding, like the fight in this team, well-coached. Free-throw and outside shooting obviously the Achilles heel.
12 to the top team in the B1G on the road. Truly amazing job by Pike.
Also, they kept showing the standings. We have played 6 of the top 7 (all losses) and still have to play EVERYONE in the bottom 7 of the conference, minus Nebraska, plus UMD at home, Wisconsin at the garden and Purdue I think. Still. Record does not say what this team is and I think will reflect at the end of the season. Keep pounding. Great game today, have to hit FTs to beat the top teams. Have a shot against anyone though.

I would disagree with that analysis only in that shooting around the basket is also a major issue.

the bottom of the league is tough. The effort tonight was great but the outcome never in doubt. Pike is doing a great job keeping the teams from quitting and has them fighting, thats all you can ask. But I disagree, the record in league is what it is for a reason. No doubt the team will play hard but it is still the least talent team in the league...hopefully the effort is enough to pull 2-3 more wins out
Absolutely. Pike is definitely moving the program in the right direction. Just a stud or two is all it's gonna' take to get it going...
Good game guys. Had you guys shot the ball berter (specifically FTs), you probably would have won the game. We didn't play particularly well, but credit to you guys for hustling all game. The 22 offensive rebounds clearly kept you in it.

There is no deviation when he receives the ball up high as to where he is going to pass it whether the pass is open or not. If nothing else, hold it. Too far into the season to be giving the ball away so carelessly.
