They can't stack the box now. Because we have a QB who can throw. That's why the O line looks much better now. They had to get out of an 8 man blitzing box, they were and are getting killed through the air.

It appears the receivers are not that bad. It's a give-and-take relationship between the QB and receivers and when the QB doesn't give you a chance your receivers will look like crap.

And to think some here blamed CLs shortfall on lack of WR playmakers. Never that he didn't make them better.

I also question the staff, Gio scores on his first touch of the season and then rides pine for a bunch of games.

I believe it was his second snap where he ran for the TD.

There's a difference isGio has ability to run with success, so on a second down you catching with a pass and they're surprised. With Laviano (can't run), you know it's run run then pass on 3rd and long.

Have you been watching this team the past two years. Rettig has proven he can't play and hasn't taken a snap in forever. Oden has played in almost every game this year. Sheesh.

While CL's shortcoming are well documented, we still do have a lack playmakers at WR, and across the board on O and D for that matter. Obviously Gio fits this offense 100x better and can help us move the ball with the personnel we currently have.
