Johnson needs to practice free throws
"Johnson" the whole team should be on the foul line before, during, and after practice. They are pathetic! Many here will think I'm crazy, that 49% from the free throw line is not great, but not bad. And, I'm here to tell you that at this level, that % is lousy, and it's a trend this season. Yes, one game they made the last 10 free throws to ice the game, but they have to be that consistent every game. All free throws are, is concentration. It has to be stressed. I'm sure the coaches are aware, but with the better competition, it will be important just to score.

KnightsofChrome - I wouldn't say it's a trend. There are a fair amount of games where we shot Free throws from the high 60s-mid 70s range. Like for example, against Stony Brook and Morgan State.

There have also been games where we have been horrific at the line - this one and CCSU come to mind.

i dont get posts like yours. I ask a legitimate question from the perspective of someone who really doesn't care much for CBB.
Sarcasm. It's been so long since Rutgers experience winning. Just enjoy without looking for something negative/bad to happen.

Johnson in his first start has 5 rebounds, 7 assists. Maybe he ought to switch spots with Corey. Laurent played 10 minutes and took two unsuccessful shots. Starting Johnson may be permanent.

Carino reported that he had strep and was hospitalized last night. Probably trying to reduce minutes.

A lot of students are sick right now and they are taking exams and working on papers, so no surprise the basketball teams are the same. They don't take care of themselves. This as a mother and an administrator at Rutgers that is forever admonishing them. I can see the team coming down with the same thing.
