If Drake becomes a NCAA tourney team a win over them could have been the difference between being in or being out, assuming we are good enough to get to the bubble.
True, but if Drake becomes a tourney team , loss might not be as bad in the eyes of the Tourney committee where RU WBB is concerned.
It's too early in the season for me to look at doom and gloom scenarios because of an early season loss.
Looking at the WBB Top 25 polls before game , neither Drake or RU was in it but Drake had 12 votes while I didn't see any for Rutgers.
That doesn't excuse the loss, especially the 2nd half disaster that caused the loss. But ( in my opinion) proves Drake isn't the cupcake some might have thought it was
