I think we keep it competitive, we seem to play Purdue tough for some reason. In the end it may be a double digit loss after we start fouling under a minute

The game will 100% depend on 1 thing and it’s Cliff’s minutes. If he gets into foul trouble or hurt in any way, we’ll have to put Palmquist on Edey, Wolf is too short, and Purdue will feed him, easily extending a lead by 10-12 points in the blink of an eye. If we are already down 8-10 points at that time, it’s game over

There is no question Cliff will get in foul trouble.Edey is the first offensive option for Purdue. They will continue to pass the ball to him unless he is double teamed which results in open 3 point shots for the guards.Edey will probably take at least 10 foul shots.Rutgers lacks the size they had in previous seasons.

The whole key to this game is how we shoot. Even as much as we have struggled, we still can compete. At OSU down big we came back and made it a 1 possession game. At Illinois we came from way down and cut it to 3 or 4 before folding. Same at Michigan State.
Ultimately, we go on some lengthy drought and give up a 18-2 or 15-0 run and it's over.

At Seton Hall, we hit our shots and kept a good team at arms length.

Simpson MUST shoot better from the floor and we need to hit at least 8 threes and probably more to have a shot. But if we are in it, it's gonna be rocking at the RAC and that could get us over the top.

I think Ogbole would come in with a cane before Palm gets put on Edey. At least he could whack Edey with the cane.😂

We simply don’t have the offenses. Take a look at these shooting percentages. Every Purdue starter, including all three of their guards, shoots over 40% from the floor. We only have only 1 guard on our entire team who does that!

Edey – FG 57%

Kaufman - FG 53%. 3-pt. 44%

Smith – FG 45%. 3-pt 43%

Loyer – FG 42% 3-pt 44%

Jones – FG 43%. 3-pt. 36%

Omoruyi- FG 50%. 3-pt. 20%

Williams – FG 50%. 3-pt. 38% (only 19 mpg)

Hyatt – FG 39%. 3-pt. 35%

Mag. FG 38%. 3-pt. 29%

Simpson - FG 32%. 3-pt. 31%

Fernandes – FG 35%. 3-pt. 29%
