It a sad day around here when posters like Bac are being attacked for being anti-RU or overly negative. Any poster with any history on this board would know what kind of a die hard Bac is and has been.

The bottom line is anyone still paying attention at this point is to be commended as a true die-hard. The real "negatoids" have simply stopped watching.

As big an RU hoops and college hoops fan as anybody on this board. Anger directed at BAC is really misguided.

I don't get angry, BUT......Anger would only be directed at those that constantly beat the drum of negativity....every single day, like clockwork. Anger is warranted when a guy ignores anything positive but jumps right in with both barrels blazing when something negative happens. That my friend.....is an agenda. He has every right to do it....but, it's still an agenda....a Crusade.

As an outsider looking in for a few years 3 of the most diehard fans on this board were LCP and are BK118 & BAC.
Anti-RU they've never been. [cheers]

He is not anti-Rutgers, but, in the current situation he has LOST all objectivity because his single goal that he has stated repeatedly is for Danny Hurley to be coach. That hope, that dream, that goal is driving him.

I thought we played hard and pretty well today in the 1st half.
I saw a lot of positives when I wasn't expecting many in such a bad matchup.

We really kept it close, and came back after falling behind big quickly due to a ridiculously high 3 point shooting percentage.
We could have easily folded right there in the 1st half, but did not.
Credit to the team and coaches for that.

2nd half...
Again with the ridiculous 3s.
I think we chose to pack it down low to help with rebounding, then they kicked it out to open shooters for easy looks.

Michigan state is a huge team - we really had no chance, so I was glad to see us compete for a half.
It was laughable how even when we boxed out, the taller players just snatched up the rebounds.

Jury is still out to me.
Keep playing and coaching hard, and let's get some Ws

As his brother I can tell you he does not have an agenda and please he is not trying to have Danny Hurley as the coach. Believe me.

The relentless defense of a coach, either of his in-game work, practice habits, or recruiting, is totally reasonable, right?

The need to come back to anyone, every time who dares question if we have the right coach - that is not having an agenda?

watching Izzo get in his players faces for doing things wrong when they were up 12-13 pts on RU and making shots and rebounding left and right...what a contrast to the other end of the court. IF the plan is to have a talent laden roster (like an NBA team) and then just put them out there to do their thing...never going to work on many levels.

He'll get another year just to prove it out...(IMO) after all the years of waiting on Rutgers to get good again ...I guess what's one more to see if my instincts/observations were right or wrong again.

Yes . I noticed this too. One played was reamed by Izzo and then Asst. coach. looked like he was gonna cry. They were up 20.
