It’s really not surprising at all. I was expecting -3.5 but this is obviously in the same area.
The people who actually stake money on the outcomes of these games are not assuming the team is suddenly bad because of performance in one game. And to the extremely limited extent that it would matter, Indiana is coming off a bad game as well.

I read an Indiana board that seems more pessimistic about their chances than our fans. One board will be surprised to see its team win.
Indiana can beat anyone and lose to anyone on any given day. Key is to neutralize Jackson Davis and ensure no one else gets hot like Phinese.

I can't tell if you're saying this because you think we should easily win, or if you're trying to stamp down expectations on this board of an easy win.
They're 12-10 (7-8), which is not that much different than our 12-9 (8-9), and they beat Iowa twice. If you look at the scores of their games, it looks a lot like our season last year, when we were "in" every game.
So I would say this game is basically a "pick em" type game that will come down to which team makes plays in crunch time.
Strong rumors on the IU board that Race Thompson is out for the season with a broken nose and orbital bone that will require surgery. If true, then Indiana has nobody of size after TJD. Big opportunity to punish them in the paint.

No one on this board should bet against Rutgers but for anyone else if you can get Indiana +4.5 -110 take it, that's off market.

Actually it was 4.5 when it was on the screen. I looked at the slip and it was 3. Don't know how that happened.
A lot of those sites are pretty glitchy imo.
If you still have the time travel I wouldn't take the points.
