you are fooling yourself if you think Michigan is bringing it tonight...they may have elevated to C game as it has gone on. I gave credit to RU, its the best they have played this year...much like the Iowa game..taking advantage of the other team not bringing it but even with that its still double digits
We are a few three point shots away from a tie. If Mike or Bishop or Grier make their open 2 or 3 three point shots, which are being nicely set up we lead. Watch the damn game. Corey would have 10 assists if our guys could shoot.

Like Patrick says we need more good shooting. Never think Daniels will make a shot.

Just caught up with the TiVo. Very pleased with the defensive effort. Especially sanders. If I nitpick he isn't doing a good enough job getting us in the offense.

not sure of actual number but very few turnovers in second half

to basically be within ten entire second half with just one scorer is a great effort.

man I hope Sanders sticks around

I see improvement despite being down to 6 guys. They are gassed but play hard. I give them props.

Corey and Williams played well tonight. Love the hard work. They seem to be getting it together a bit. Something positive. Corey is starting to look the part. Just keep it under control with the shot selection.

I still don't get the coaching. Playing 7 man rotation and hanging around and you don't take your first TO in the 2nd half until 6mins left?
Then after Ru makes a basket to go down 10 with 1 min to go you don't call 1 of your other 2 left to set something up or give em a blow? And you run off the court with 2 in your pocket?

Lewis catching the rebound on the 1 & 1 and handing the ball to the ref was classic.

Ru was like 4 - 18 threes vs. 11 of 24 (or something like that).

Two games in a row that I am very proud of the guys. Only a hater would criticize this game. Played far from their best, but still hung in there. But please, EJ, tell Williams he is not permitted to shoot threes. Also, another nice coming out party for Sanders.

Best defensive game of the season. Our lack of size, especially on the perimeter hurt us. Regardless, it's always harder to play D. The team really gave great effort today.

The women lost 64-48 in a horrible exhibition of basketball. We have killed any NCAA chances, especially the way the NCAAs hate Rutgers and CVS. If you think it is bad wait till next year when the only scorer is Scaife. Recruiting is not very good as we are not contenders for the top 20 type kids.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Scaife bolt early. Women are toast they will be lucky to make the WNIT at this point, bottom feeders in the Big 10 at 3-7

Good effort by the team and coaching staff .It always comes down to the Rutgers scoring droughts and the opponent making 3 point shots which decide the point differential.Williams and Sanders carried the team offensively but the 3 point shot was missing probably because of all the minutes they played .In the end Rutgers simply lacks enough offense to win a 40 minute game.

I think its her last year. She is wasting 3 WNBA players on her team. Indiana is a traditional bottom feeder and if RU loses tonight I think they fall to 3-7 in league play. We don't need to bleed money on her and an empty RAC. Hire the Princeton womens coach Banghart and watch the ponytails come and watch the fanbase come back again

I have been calling for a Courtney Banghart hiring at RU since her Princeton team demolished our women two years ago with far less talent on the floor.

about 25% now for two seasons. i cringe when he makes one. 3 to 4 misses to follow.
i like his effort , not afraid to play inside, he's scrappy ,etc. but no more threes.

So what's his role in the next two years?

energy guy off the bench, he can still score some and draw fouls in athletic slasher role. as bad as Grier looked last night i would rather see him taking an open three on a kickout vs Williams.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! williams should keep playing like he is on the offensive end.
You think he should keep shooting threes? Just asking. I like Williams, and he has some game inside the arc, but it is hard watching him shoot threes.

Couldn't agree more. He looks so much better when shooting 12-footers and taking the ball to the rim. It appears he lacks the strength/stamina to shoot from beyond the arc. Almost every time he hoists a three, it looks like it's taking every ounce of energy out of him.
