I read that he's scheduled to graduate this may after 3 years at Butler (1 was a redshirt year). Would that make him a grad transfer with 2 years of eligibilty?

As an Indiana native, you have to think there are at least a half dozen Big Ten teams he would favor before Rutgers.

A rare graduate transfer with two years of eligibility left. At the least, I hope that he gets a phone call to see if there's mutual interest.

No thanks. His playing time diminished as the season went on. Was only playing 8 minutes a game for Butler the last half of the season, plus he's kinda slow and barely gets off the ground. We were one win away from finishing eight in the Big 10. We have to do better. Can't see this kid transferring to a school were he is less likely to play than where he is now. I would think that would eliminate anyone in the Big 10 - think he transfers down a level, but we'll see.

He did manage to get nearly 8 PPG and 4 RPG in just over 18 MPG. He is 6‘11“ tall and 230 pounds. On paper, he at least merits a look.

Could be a product of that small ball league. Big men are useless in the big east. Its a little boy conference, they dont bang

Its hard to please the Rutgers fan base. The potential recruit is either a bad fit talent wise or too talented and would likely choose a more successful program.

OSU just had Jaedon LaDee announce a transfer, so there's a spot open for Brunk there.

This is exactly what CJ Gettys has talked about. True big men need to play in a big man conference to show their talents.
