Turned on the game and see Baker get toasted and a 3 pointer ... down by 20 ... at home ... to a . .500 club ... that is 1-7 on the road ... 4th game in 8 days ... just horrible ... 30 point loss?

The whole team looks tired. Not really an excuse however. Indiana played on Saturday too.

Hobbs has to seriously consider giving the fans a refund for this game. Terrible.

What kind of offense does this team run? They just run a weave around the perimeter until they get pushed out to half court! Everybody goes one on one, they rarely cut or screen and roll and not a single guy can shoot! My som’s 6th grade team moves the ball betrer! Ugh...

I know we are so limited in shooting but at least run an offense where we move, set off the ball screens and move the ball everything is one on one and just 4 guys standing around watching not moving at all! Would love to ask Pikell what offense we are actually running because I don't see any offense I don't see any plays and I don't see any out of bounds plays but that is an issue for another day!!

7 for 38 .... less than 20% ... how is that possible for a Division 1 program?

Thiam is done, he can't even hit the fvcking rim. This is no longer a cold streak, he just can't shoot except in practice with no one around him.

He’s got potential because he’s 6’9” but I don’t think he’s a B1G player at all right now. He’s one dimensional...and not very good at that dimension.

The player development under this coaching staff has not been promising. Sanders/Freeman are the same or worse. Sa/Doorson didn't get better. Aside from Omoruyi everyone's development seems stagnant.

I agree thats why I laugh when people say this team will finish anything other than last next year
So i guess mathis eugene, carter kiss and most likely a grad transfer wont do anything to improve the team

I was thinking the same. Other than Omoruyi, it’s hard to name a player that’s improved.

without Sanders having any effect on the game tonight, my concerns over him leaving are renewed.

Not compared to what the rest of the league is returning/recruiting

We’ll be fine next year. We have a very legit lineup if corey comes back. Corey will also have secondary scoring options that can space the floor for him too.

Were a bubble team next year if corey comes back

Yeah you are the dude who thinks they can make the ncaa..keep dreaming that our newcomers are better than the rest of the leagues newcomers and returning players....we can hope for 4 conference wins but that won't get them higher than 14th

Its year 5 and 6 to look for

Doorson should leave as a grad transfer. This isn't the level for him to play at.

You’re joking right? It’s basement or bust for this team

The point is that when he’s one the court, he can shoot a three instead of Freeman chucking one up.

However, i worry that people seem to be expecting a lot from a player who was a high-volume, fairly low percentage shooter in a weaker league last year.

We can lose to mediocre Indiana by 25 at home and bad illinois by 30 on the road without Sanders too...long run picture we will be better off with a conistent player rather than one who shows up once every 3 games
