RU-CCSU GAME THREAD

[bac2therac]

There are going only 6 other people in my section and pprobably 800 in the building

[bac2therac]

Getting a little better but will have no more than 2500 tonight on a nasty rain/sleet night

[seels2662]

Holy crap I swear I thought it was tomorrow

[RutgersJoe]

Took forever to get here, nasty out

[Local Shill]

Decent start. Gotta close out in their guard shooting 3s

[BillyC80]

Very slow start, as usual.

[Dpgru]

Shooting shooting shooting - or lack thereof

[FrankZ_RU93]

Shooting 55% to their 23% and only up 4.

[Dpgru]

Conn is small, no need for an outside game tonight - thus far anyway

[Local Shill]

Good to see Shaq getting a bit of run.

[Dpgru]

A three!!!

[bac2therac]

Its a meh performance against a bad team. Would like to see more focus

[FrankZ_RU93]

A three!!!

Eye opening when it goes in.

[OTBOTOR]

What is that, 4 or 5 travels by CCSU so far?

[Dpgru]

NJ 2 threes

[geoman]

Another 3!

[bac2therac]

Doing better these last 4 minutes...29-17

[Local Shill]

Should we be worried about Laurent yet?

[SirPerceval]

Thiam just got hurt standing still?

[Dpgru]

I love our depth but it is hard to get any rhythm or flow in the offense with so many different combinations on the floor.

[RU-Choppin-Ohio]

At work and not watching, but, based on the score I'm curious if Central Conn is playing Man to Man ?

[Caliknight]

Not seeing this game listed on ESPN 3.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Getting out-rebounded 16-13, and only 1 O-REB. That will not help our #1 ranking.

[Dpgru]

Nice play on that break.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Not seeing this game listed on ESPN 3.

It's on

[Dpgru]

Opening it up now - up by 20

[FrankZ_RU93]

2 steals and dunks in a row???

[bac2therac]

15-2 run...back to back dunks...39-19

[RU848789]

Nice run, sweet steals and slams - great game so far for RU...

[KnightsofChrome]

Central Conn. beat Hartford by 15! Where, we beat Hartford by a whopping 2 points. All about match ups, and desire.

[PatrickRU92]

wow we look very good tonight. In fairness though CCSU may be the worst team we've played short of the opener.

[geoman]

Double Steal! Playing Defense makes a huge difference.

[Dpgru]

Good half. 18-4 run.

[shields]

We are winning these games this year.

[cyrock3]

Playing well... free throws aside.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Doubling them up at the half, 42-21. Shocking 60% from the floor.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Whoops like these are cutting into my cereal time.

[Abro1975]

Gettys and Freeman 8-8 total. Gettys only missed 1 shot in last 2 games.

[RutgHoops]

42-21 at the half. That is what a good team does to Central Connecticut State. Our defense is really good tonight. They can't get a shot off in about 20% of the possessions and shoot tough shots in about 60% of the rest.

[Abro1975]

2-7 shooting fouls worse than normal
