This is not like the previous staff. They put in a ton of work and use the four year transfers. They brought in gorski which is a previous example of a div 3 player that seemed to be a div 1 caliber. Was talking with a former Rutgers assistant coach who is really connected with high school coaches.Said he is really impressed with Owens. Owens spoke at a recent high school coaches meeting and they loved him. Everyone is well aware of the lack of a real stadium and it is coming.
That is good to hear. it is tough to see such a talented staff have to deal with a stadium really just a field with some bleachers, when multiple d3 teams, d3 softball teams have better facilities than we do. I mean montclair state softball has a better facility. I am sure you could find many more, anything with a real grandstand press box and lockers and lights. Anyway glad to hear that because with the most recent facilities update. Hobbs seemed to want to wait to do the entire facility at once. When the impact of lights would be enormous for recruiting and hosting state and travel ball tournaments.
