But K allowing multiple players onto his team after they've been accused of sexual assault is respectable?
First sentence just hurts my head (thought it was a statement but the question mark just threw me...). The irony is so delicious. Do you realize that by stereotyping an entire fan base based on a misrepresentation of a geographical area is the most ignorant thing you can do? Plus your sentence structure is just plain wrong. Might want to tighten up on English before you start throwing stones and calling others ignorant.
If it wasn't clear enough for you, let me walk you though why everything you just said is wrong. I'll enumerate them for you below so you can follow along. Feel free to get out a pencil and paper and take notes, the education will be enlightening for you.
1. Cal Develops young men to be successful in life at a greater clip that K ever has. That can't even be argued and if you try it just shows how ignorant you are.
2. Thugs? Well if you want to go back to the BSG era then possibly but since Cal has been here, I can't think of one player that has been in trouble? Perhaps I'm forgetting one, but if I am it can't be more than one. So your argument fails again. We have not had our share of "thugs". You on the other hand have one that is a little baby that decides he wants to trip people when he doesn't get his entitled way. I actually was impressed with K when he benched him because I didn't think he would, but bringing him back after a single game made your coach and team a laughing stock and it just showed what your coach will do to put good players on the court.
3. Sqeaky? Do you mean Squeaky? I'm sure you did. Here's the thing, we don't "try to be sqeaky", we fully acknowledge what has happened in the past and we have taken our punishment and moved on. Duke and UNC on the other hand have not and have squeaked by without so much as gotten a slap on the wrist (see what I did there?) So they deserve to be called out on their transgressions on a daily basis by opposing schools fans.
4. As fans of a school we can do nothing to "take care of our teams shortcomings", the most we can do is talk about them on a message board... And to be completely honest, you should feel proud that we spend any time at all thinking about your little school. That means you are at-least in our sphere of conscientiousness, otherwise we would never even mention you. We are the king and you are nothing but a flash in the pan that has been fortunate to keep a coach as good a K is for as long as you have. When he leaves you'll go back to obscurity once again while we keep on trucking. So be thankful for the amount of time we give you.
5. Being terrified and Jealous are certainly not why we discuss you all. We like to point and laugh at things that amuse us. And frankly you amuse us. The fact that the NCAA and ESPN are both enamored with your little pathetic school and does everything to keep it relevant and give it that squeaky clean image that you so desperately want to keep (see what I did again?) is extremely entertaining from a sadistic point of view. You all want to accomplish what we have accomplished so bad but you are finding out that doing so over an extended period of time is not so easy. So having friends who overlook obvious transgressions in the program and constantly promote your school as the place to go is so funny to us.
Side note on being terrified of other schools. You do know that you are on another schools forum right? We didn't come to your forum and ask you to post here did we? And the fact that you can accuse us of talking about your school or coach every single day just shows that you come here often enough to see other threads. Well, that seems to suggest that you are the one with the insecurity issues, not us. We are perfectly content keeping to ourselves here on our board, we don't need to validate our fandom by going to other boards and accusing their fans of "being scared" of us.
6. The very fact that you came here and decided to make such a post saying that "you don't have to say how good you are, you just prove it" IS SAYING THAT YOU ARE SAYING YOUR GOOD... Do you not see that?
7. Good players, good character? (*cough* Grayson Allen *Cough* *Cough*) Well if you haven't noticed you are now fighting after the same exact players we are. Your coach has decided that his former way of coaching and recruiting weren't good enough and that he needed to change tactics to be more like us. So if you feel that our players are thugs, guess what your players are? And don't think that just because they choose to go to Duke that they are any different than our players.
8. Look at your team this year. K is finding out how difficult it is to coach the players that Cal constantly succeeds with. So does that make Cal the bestest coach ever? since he succeeds where K is failing? (I'm sorry, I mean having back trouble, timing is everything).
If you stayed with me this far, I commend you. You can consider yourself 10% more intelligent and I'm sure the results will be proven out if you quickly take an IQ test.

K is one of the top 2 college coaches of all time. His records of wins (1,000+) and NCAA Tournament wins (90) never be touched, and he's not done yet,
How many of those wins have been the result of a favorable whistle in Cameron? Not arguing that K is a great coach, just that his winning % has been greatly helped by having the most favorable whistle of any arena I've seen.

You generalize an ENTIRE fan base of a team and you call us uneducated? Take a moment and consider how uneducated you sound right now. Stereotyping people based on a misconception that is solely based on sarcastic humor makes you seem to be the biggest idiot in the room.
Now I've spoken to many Duke fans and they have actually shown me that they have decent BB IQ. I will refrain from judging them based off of your asinine comments. I will not let your stupidity cloud my view of them. See that is how an educated and intelligent human being looks at the world.
