Getting a little ahead of ourselves aren’t we
NR is always one of the best looking 1A teams in the state walking off the bus. Good size lineman, decent numbers and lots of skill guys. QB and RB are smallish but good in space running the ball. Tall WR like 6'3 surpassed 2000 career yards this season and is very fast. Defense is athletic and gets to the ball quickly, but they do not fair well against teams that can run downhill. 6-4 record is a bit deceiving with losses to 4 playoff teams Salisbury, Thomasville, West Rowan and East Davidson. Not a team to overlook, but MA has too much for them.
We played them in the third round back in 2019. As you said, they looked great, they put out hype videos, we ended up beating them like a drum. It may have even been a shut out
Yes I remember that game. One of their posters said they were going to come and take over Valhalla haha
They always have athletes and this year is no different. They can play with anyone but can also come out flat and lose to someone they should beat.
Our back set a school record for single game rushing yards vs NR last year. 377 round about.
I was at that game. Neither team had much luck stopping the other. They couldn't stop robbinsville's run game bit robbinsville had a hard time chasing down their QB.
Listen it’s funny how people look ahead of games!!! Carver can run down hill from what I’ve seen this year and this will be a closer game than the experts predict. I won’t be surprised if Carver pulls off the upset in a close one.
Yeah... my little Yellow Jackets 3-7 record kinda deceptive. If they play defense and make NR one dimensional they could win.
Thoughts on this game via this thread vs the other one?
