I believe within the last month but could have for sure been earlier than that!
Did he not enroll this semester? When you take a medical you don't come off the roster
Yeah the online roster does not list Thompson, Robb, or Goff. It would be a shame to lose those guys. They're all talented and that would really diminish our depth at the upper weights.

If you’re BT, how in the world do you not seize the opportunity when Ryder got hurt? I’m interested to know the full story there
Goff seemed to have a ton of talent, but I was always worried about if he could make the jump. No info on what happened but I’m sadly not super surprised that didn’t pan out. Specifically I just didn’t think he lived the sport like most kids (whether that was in his control or not).

Not really sure I understand BTs logic here if he really is refusing to try and make 184. You’ve got an opportunity to prove you can be a high caliber starter in NCAA D1 wrestling and probably earn yourself some nice NIL $ in the portal, but you won’t take it? Foolish imo.
Contrast that with Gabe Arnold at Iowa, who would probably wrestle at HWT if he was asked. No starting spot and still ready to jump in at a moments notice.

I’m assuming he wants to save this year so he’ll have 3 years of eligibility left but yeah pretty crazy.
I know, I was just trying to make light of a bad situation. Three upperweights depart the team at the same time a starter goes down with an injury. I don't have any reliable info on Ryder, sorry. In both of DT's press conferences since it happened, he mentioned stingers when talking about Ryder's injury. I'm pretty certain it's more than that. No clue how long it keeps him out though

You can see Ryder say my shoulder is out . That's not a stinger. He will be in a brace. Typically it's a torn labrum when the shoulder keeps coming out. Looked like it happened in OT to end the match as well
Hearing Robb is gonna look for a medical and hit the portal. Hearing the same for Thompson.
