If Utah scores here, they gotta go for two. Can't go into OT with OSU.

Well, I stand corrected. But I'm still going for two there and trying to win it on one play. Realize you still have to hold Ohio State, but I feel think that was Utah's only chance to pull this out.

Frustrating that a freshman walk-on is better prepared than any of our starters…

Once tOSU was in FG range in that last minute Utah should have let them score a TD to save some time on the clock.

Should have been an easy win for OSU but they have some issues to fix on D this off-season with their new defensive coordinator.

Their DL and back end on defense was a shambles from what we've known from tOSU. That is why Michigan took it to them, and Oregon ran all over them.

They'll be just fine. I don't feel an ounce of sorrow for tOSU.

Or, take some time off the clock while they still had the ball. That's tough to do, especially with a backup QB in the game. But Utah couldn't even slow OSU down the entire second half - no reason to think they would hold them on the last drive.

It was interesting during the post-game interview with Coach Day, he seemed to be using the assumptive close regarding his eligible talent returning to the team next year. Something like “we’re going to be great next year with all these guys coming back.” If I’m a couple of those dudes I would take a serious look at da’ MONEY! Injuries happen in that sport.

Have seriously seen some amazing receivers this bowl season. Not to mention some great QB’s too. Been fun…wish we were in the conversation.

Utah should have won this game. Ohio State didn't even take this game seriously. Their fans who usually travel very well were outnumbered by Utes fans. Add to that the opt outs, and you really should have seen Utah grind them down in the second half. Look at the uniforms even, Utah had specially made unis for this game with the rose decal on their helmets.

It's kind of astonishing how Ohio State struggled so much with those two five star defensive ends from the 2021 class. They are littered with four and five stars all over the place. Their defensive coordinator really shouldn't cash his checks for this year.

Exactly. They're gutting this year's defense and staff during the off season. If they get that defense fixed, they could be absolutely lethal in 2022.

To show how OSU expects success, they finished 11-2, and won the Rose Bowl but yet many OSU followers consider this year as a failure

Exactly.

Hell, Alabama fans were talking about firing Saban when they lost 2 games by a combined 8 points to eventual National Champ LSU and rival Auburn in 2019. The game had "passed him by". They also thought he was done in 2013 when they lost in the Sugar Bowl to *gasp* Oklahoma.

Ryan Day is 34-4 at Ohio State in 3+ seasons. He has 2 conference championships and is 23-1 in conference play and will have finished with 3 top 5 ranked teams, 2 CFP appearances, and many think he is "underperforming". It is pure insanity.
