Can't be happy!! This could be the beginning of the end of college bowls! Closer to a large playoff format. Can't wait!! Other than the BCS the other bowls are meaningless. It has to change!

The Rose Bowl has already been somewhat diluted by the playoff system. The Big 10 and Pac 10 champions don't always play there now. I think it will still be a thing because of the parade, but as a game it's fading already.
Somewhat, it’s the sign of the times , money makes the world go around, it always had and always will.!
The Rose bowl is in the NY6 bowl rotation and in the Playoff system rotation, this is not going to affect them any different than the last few years.
I got news for you, the other bowls are already meaningless, players opting out left and right.
And I've been told from people that went in 2001 that stadium is overrated, view not that great relatively flat, and underwhelming. And yes we lost so that might have skewed opinion
Yes, the stadium is not the best viewing if you happen to have low seats the higher you are the better for viewing..
Was at the 2002 Rose bowl game and I had terrible seats.. the best seats are overlooking the San Gabriel mountains in the back round..

At this point, the ONLY thing I care about is the Gophers making the Playoff. And I don't care how it's done. I'm good with expanding it to 32 teams.
I'd be an absolute fool to care about fairness and integrity at this point. I'd punish teams like Alabama and Ohio State. At least give them a tougher schedule like the NFL does.
