Boroski thwarted any momentum at every turn. It was more than a bit much.
This is what the "refs don't matter" crowd doesn't seem to get. Momentum matters. Soft whistles relentlessly kept them scoring.
The momentum of Rutgers getting the ball with a chance to cut it to a 1 possession game and send Murray to the bench with two fouls cannot be understated. That's 5+ min with him off the court and a chance to send him right back to the bench early in the second with another foul. That alone had an enormous impact on the game.
Not even counting the horrific reffing outside of that one game changing call
