Since Reddish is officially off the board, does this re-open the chance of Langford to UK? He still kept us on his list even though "experts" say UK hasn't been recruiting him hard. Plus Cal being his coach on the USA team certainly won't hurt. Quickley, Langford and Barrett, and Williamson at the 1, 2, 3 and 4? With a chance that Keldon Johnson also signs?

We can hope. Langford is an excellent player.

The dukes may get him though. Coach K and Capel are just doing things right and basically we have to take whatever leftovers :/

I hope the dukes one day stop hurting our brand and recruiting. K keeps making cal super angry by stealing all the recruits and making everyone see that his multiple final 4's, titles games, sec championships, wins, awards, recruiting success , trophies etc ... is not NEARLY enough.

1- Coach K/ Duke

UK/ everyone else.

The GAP just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I'd say no. We don't seem to be showing the love and he's a top 10 player.
I'd bet heavily on Indiana.

Username checks out
Damn, I was just trying to be funny with my username. I don't know why I'd lose credibility points for it. I'm not one of those crazies who think the sky is falling because Duke has 1 good recruit and we don't yet in 2018. Cal always gets his.

I think Keldon Johnson getting an offer was a sign we have backed off Langford. I could be wrong but I think Dook has backed off him as well.

I don't think we've really even been recruiting Langford since Cal got back from Egypt. Something clearly happened that he didn't like while they were overseas.

I think every person on RR ran the same gauntlet when their post count was in double digits. It'll pass once you've settled in as a regular poster.

Langford ain't going to be at UK and that is a good thing . Don't need that drama and we don't need guards either really. We will sign one and that will be Keldon Johnson.

Kids have to consider all angles before choosing their school. Coach, teammates, fan support, likelihood of getting into the league, and life after the league. Duke preaches that they take care of you simply because you went there. Kentucky has the same thing. If a former player was down on his luck and needed a job he would be taken care of.

Kids also have to consider the type of role-model their getting in a coach. Cal is that parent that sets a great example. Raises a million for Harvey victims, supports the kid all the way through their college process. That's got to be huge for a recruits parents to see.

UL sets a terrible example. They are that parent that sits around playing video games all day and smoking weed. You feel sorry for recruits that think they might be interested. Pitino is that parent setting a terrible example. How could any kid be interested ever again? How could their parents let them be?

Have no idea what Duke is hitting on right now.

Langford to IU made sense as soon as Crean was let go. You knew the new coach would sell him on "saving the program" and the statue pitch. At his home state school that's also a blue blood that can be really hard for an 18 year old to say no to.

And honestly I'm not sure what parents are thinking sending their kids to play for a man in Rick Pitino that has shown repeatedly how immoral he is. And it's really not just Pitino. It's become a linchpin of louisvilles athletic success since Jurich took over.

With all due respect, what is it going to take for folks like you to realize that these parents and kids do not care about all this off the court(field) stuff at these schools and some of them even think it's cool.

Perhaps some parents don't care. I would.
As for what Louisville did being "cool"... I bet less than 1% of parents would think all that **** was cool.

Please. There's enough talk about Duke on this board without bringing them up in a thread about a kid who has officially eliminated Duke.
