Right? It is like everyone in the band made a deal with the devil.
That may be some of the most genetically superior genes ever produced given the supplier's historical nature or some of the most genetically frail. We should study the offspring and see which way it goes.

That really is a brilliant song on several levels. BUUUUT, I have trouble letting myself like songs about the devil.... Van Halen and Train are 2 groups with a brilliant song that contains refrences to the devil or doubting heaven, and I just have to turn the dial when they come on..

Sympathy for the Devil…my all-time #1.

More of a Stryper fan, huh?

I saw them in Boulder in 1981 and later in LA. The Boulder concert was truly amazing. Folsom Field allowed people to being in bota bags or up to a 5L box of wine. It was October 3-4 and I had to miss the Auburn game (a win) to drive out for the Sunday concert. They played something ridiculous like 25 songs. They flew in aboard helicopters during Heart's set. One head-scratcher was Heart was the second back-up band and George Thorogood was the main back-up. Heart was hugely popular at the time and had several top selling albums. Their set was amazing and they blew our doors in as they were hardcore rockers compared to what you see in their videos. George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers basically sucked and people were screaming for Heart to come back and do another set.

Incidentally, Nebraska lost their first game in 1981 to Iowa in Iowa City.

Isn't Thorogood from Nebraska?

Heart totally jams out!

George Thorogood is decent and puts on a good show. But it is a different vibe from Heart so it depends on what the audience is looking for

It isn't unusual for musicians to age well once they get over the substance abuse, which most do in their 30s. They are extremely rich. They tend to be very intelligent and they love their job, who wouldn't. They also aren't sitting on their *** all day in an office...riffing on a guitar, bass, or drums for 3 hours a day is probably one of the most fun and best workouts. Metallica is doing the same thing...all the dudes are going on 60 but in great shape. And lets be honest...if they were fatsos in their 20s and 30s, they probably wouldn't be as popular. People wanted skinny or healthy looking rockers...and that body type scales well to old age.

Download Hot Rocks and call it a day with the Stones. 1964 - 1971, amazing compilation album. After that…Meh. Tattoo You was decent and got me a little interested in them again. After that in 1981… Put a fork in them.
