LWN…
Lockport, know a lot of the coaches.
LWE, know a lot of the kids.
Lyons TWP, I went there. Can’t understand how they seem to be so mediocre every year.

We’ve got old Dons, not so old Dons and current Dons in the family. Friday nights on Dempster are like Sundays at mass for us.

The Irish Nationalist movement has a phrase, Tiocfaidh Ar La, translates from Irish, “our day will come”. One of these days the Don’s day will come and you’ll hear the commotion all over the tri state area when it happens.

Until then I cheer for all the Catholic schools and Maine South when some of the family choose to go that direction. 😂. Go Dons!!

A long line of brothers, nephews, cousins, and uncles attended Mount Carmel, including the family patriarch who graduated from St. Cyril. Plus, I am indebted to the school for its very generous financial assistance. If I have any money left before I hit the morgue, I will try to leave them with a gift.

I can hear the cheers from my backyard. I so hope that day comes for them.

Regarding Portillo's cake .. I was overwhlemed with their endless emails, so, upon unsubscribing,, I was cautioned that, by doing so, I would forfeit my free piece of birthday cake. I advised them that if it came with a free can of Modelo, I'd reconsider. No response.
You guys have a great concession stand. Can I trade the cake for a couple of Wilmette Wieners?
LMAO
Your talking food right.

Went to Holy Cross/Guerin...RIP both

I follow the private schools (MC, JCA, LA, etc...)

I like the smaller schools more nowadays. 1A-4A is more my jam.

I don't root for any team specifically.

What I do root for when I cover a game is:

1. No one gets hurt
2. I get a good quality game.
3. It starts on time
4. No overtime...it kills you for deadline
You still root for the Bombers right? Or whatever the team name is nowadays.
