I really hope we show well (5-7K) because our tickets sale updates thus far, to both Michigan and Wisconsin, have been rather disturbing!

Have fun and bring back the "W" guys and gals!

IIRC last count was, for both games, well under 50% of our allotment. Hopefully that's changed, but, with Wisconsin being literally ON Halloween, I doubt it and never expected a big showing due to that, but Michigan is really annoying. I thought we'd take 5K for the first game. **** even Temple had about 5K in South Bend a couple of years ago and we've got plenty of alumni in the Chicago area. I don't get it and, bottom line, not good at all if we show up with 1500 fans 1st time around. Maybe just low expectations for the season.

Our group of 5 including kids will be there. I'm hoping to get to UM this year too. We were trying to do a trip to Wisc. as well, but like was mentioned, friends didnt want their kids to miss Halloween.

Re: Michigan, I get the impression that a lot of our fans (myself included) were surprised how early all the good nearby hotels got booked up. Not sure how much that contributes to the lack of sales, but poor planning doesn't help.

But we will not be invading Happy Valley. People are selling tickets like hot cakes and I think the recent events halted any late minute decisions for a lot of peoe that would have pulled the trigger.

I heard there is a big Rutgers gathering at Chumley's on College Ave, not far from the Corner Room. Don't miss it!

Wait, Chumley's is right next to The Corner Room? I've walked by that place 1000s of times and never knew that.

Also heading out tomorrow at 9am. Going with my daughter and meeting up with 6 RU fans and 4 psu fans. Staying in Elysburg Friday night at my brothers farm where we plan on doing full blown Pennsyltucky. ATV's, horseback riding, gun shooting, and heading to the local HS football game Friday night to watch my nephew.
