the BE was a bs tournament stacked against RU and most of the teams that were not the blue bloods...not to mention it was a big corporate racket. Big 10 at least offers a fair chance for equal representation. Just sucks that the team didnt have a Douby competitive season so we could really get behind the tourney in NYC

Was very proud of the Rutgers contingent. Definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of crowd and enthusiasm. Also many students showed up. Kudos to all

I figured RU would use the same bench as Illinois since both were the lower seeds. Not sure why it was switched for the second game.

Glad we proved your earlier post wrong! It was loud & we showed up. Hopefully even more in the building tomorrow!

Awesome job! I REALLY hope the fans show they Haven’t stopped talking about it on BTN since the game ended. I really hope there’s not more Nitiots in the house.

A Minnesota fan asked a Rutgers fan how far away was Rutgers from NYC. When he was told about 30 minutes,he said, that's not fair, it's like a home game for them, lol. Felt like it, great job.

It was a great atmosphere at MSG for a first round tournament game last night, for sure. Those of us who made the trip were rewarded by a great RU team effort. I hope last night inspires more RU fans to turnout tonight, although the likely 9:30 p.m. start time is tough for those who have to work in the a.m.

Big East fans from many schools have packed MSGA for those late starts on Thursday nights. Lame excuse.

Last night the crowd was just so electric for RU. I expect the crowd to be even more electric tonight for RU.

Unfortunately it is for me. Too late of a start for my 530 wakeup call followed by 3 skills algebra 2 classes in the AM. I will watch from the comfort of my couch tonight.

The big storm is really going to put a damper on things unfortunately tonight and tomorrow. Those already staying in the city from out of town will be there, but walk up and last minute sales will be hurt.

It's rain. It shouldn't stop anyone from hitting tonight's games. Tomorrow....with flooding and all, I can see, but not tonight.

Agree, but as we know rain stops our football season ticket holders from attending home games, lol
