You are saying it is all about QB play. They both won SBs.

Point being, it isn't all about QB play.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but most times, and by a wide margin, if you don't get great QB play you don't go very far when it matters. If you're suggesting QB play is second to anything, you're wrong. If you're building a team, whether it's an expansion team or you are the new GM, what position do you want to make sure is filled with the biggest badass you can find, first? It ain't DB or RB or LB or safety, or, or, or...It's all about the QB now. To argue otherwise because Flacco or Dilfer won a title is silly.

Doubt if Rodgers could elevate Denver to getting to a SB like Manning was able to, just not enough talent, and there’s no wickedly good defense to destroy other teams like the Broncos had back then.

Green Bay is old school, tough NFLfootball. I’ve never been a Rodgers fan though. He may be talented but he comes off as a sanctimonious jerk.
Not anymore. SF is and has been more physical than GB. SF d is legit.

New coach too. Not sure Rodgers likes that scenario. Rodgers to Raiders would be fun

Don't want to get into the back and forth about Rodgers but I will say you put him on the right team and he will do great. Defense and special teams won and lost that game last night. GB special teams were terrible, blocked FG and punt for a TD and SF special teams were very good.

I feel SF will play in the Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills and it should be a great Super Bowl. I'm a Rams fan and have been since the sixties but my team doesn't have a strong enough all around defense and offensive line to win going forward.

it is a salary cap league ... if teams think they have an elite QB they invest heavily in that and have to piece together the other facets of their team

if your team is built around elite QB play (like GB) then you better get elite QB play when it counts if you expect to win

the best scenarios are when you have an elite or near elite QB on a rookie contract and your money is invested in the the defense - off line etc and you are also elite in one of those areas ... Seattle when Wilson was on a rookie contract ... or you have an elite QB that you are paying and you get huge value in the draft and you have a bunch of other guys playing at an elite level while on rookie contracts

He scored 10 points..that's a Supreme choke job.
So, the FG team had a chip shot FG blocked. 3 points. Also driving them for another TD and the TE fumbled. 3 or 7 more points. So both of those are on him?? Gotcha. A choke job is what Adrian Martinez used to do. Fumbles, Int's, boneheaded plays. That's a choke job. Carrying your team all season to the best record is not choking. Facts are facts.

Just holding him to the same standard as Dak was held too.

Why didbt he score a TD instead of relying on a FG.

14 points wins this game.

Hes supposed to be a GOAT qb.

Surely he can muster up 14 points.

Work with me. 10 points plus a blocked FG is 13 points. A fumble costs GB another 3 or 7. That's 16 or 20 points. The defense played lights out. No picks, No fumbles by A-Rod. That's good enough to win. Explain how that is a choke job by A-Rod again?? Now, if you had said GB special teams are garbage I'd agree. Been saying it all year. Just like NUs clown show. Dak makes more money and has never won ****. Or never will win ****.

He still has a chance to match Rodgers 1 Superbowl..

Even though he never will as long as Jerry runs the team.

Bottom.line is he hsd 2 chances to put up more points and failed. One and done just like Dak.

Ok. Let me know when Dak wins 3 MVPs and a SB. And has the career numbers that A-Rod has had. I'll save you the suspense. It will never happen.

Up 10-3 with 6:10 left Rogers got the ball and went 0-1

At 10-10

Rogers got the ball with 4:26 left at the GB 29
He went 1-3 for 4 yards and they punted

Garoppolo got the the ball with 3:20 left at the SF 29
He went 2-2 for 26 yards to get the ball into GB territory en route to the win

Rogers had the ball twice late in the 4th quarter with a chance to ice or win the game and went 1-4 for 4 yards without a first down

Garoppolo had the ball once and went 2-2 for 26 yards and had 4 first downs

Choked again haha what a tool
?.. I’m a Vikings fan, yep..and I can’t stand the packers! But seriously, anyone who says Rodgers is the Packers problem, doesn’t know football! Sure he’s an arrogant tool, but he’s damn good at what he does.. and with an offensive line that has always been mediocre.
If I was a general manager of any team that needs a QB, I’d be on the phone to his agent quickly!

We have been blessed with back to back 2 first ballot Hall of fame QB's for the last 30 years. That's pretty incredible. Look at how some teams go through QBs like TP. I hope GB hangs on to him for another 5 years. But with salary cap it may be tough. If he decides to move on. Best of luck to both parties involved. Jordan Love isn't the answer. It's gonna be real tough following 2 legends like A-Rod and Favre. It amuses me how some think it's so easy to replace a 3 time MVP and leader like A-Rod with Joe Blow. Doesn't work that way.

Yeah, gonna be tough sledding post A-Rod. I thought life would be rough after Favre but the Pack came out well in it all. Pretty sure Love isn't stepping in after...

Only the quarterback matters in the NFL..

No need to have a pass rush

It’s amazing that the 2 winning teams yesterday gave up a total of 13 QB sacks

True. If A-Rod and mgmt decide to part ways amicably they can get some serious draft picks from New Orleans, Denver, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh or any team that is close and needs an MVP QB. Then find a new young stud QB in the draft and start over.

Glad to see that incredible douche lose, despite his ridiculous talent. The 49ers grinding that out also helped ease my Cowboys fan suffering. It shouldn’t, but it did.

Can Rodgers walk without the Packers getting compensation

It's got to be deeply disappointing to only have two Super bowls between Rodgers and Favre.
