Doesn’t Aaron carry a big part of the blame for just 10 points?
It was cold AF. It was a good hard fought game. Rodgers didn't lose it. Special teams lost that game. You did watch the game, correct?

Sure hope you're on here tomorrow to take your lumps after talking mad **** tonight.
Oh yeah. Chiefs may very well lose tommorrow. At least not to the packers. They lost to the Grappalo haha. Much rather lose to Josh Allen.

It’s not black or white. Rodgers is a great Qb. Some talking heads and sports writers think he might be the best in the game. I just think when he plays a team in the playoffs that is led by a very average Jimmy G and he can’t deliver more than 10 points then he should get a big chunk of the blame. Sure Rodgers doesn’t play on Special teams, but he is the leader on the offense. The offense under performed. (I believe it was just as cold for the 49ers).

That is a crazy list. Rodgers is considered to be just as talented as Mahomes and Brady, but the rest of the list he is easily a better quarterback (Peyton in the Broncos loss to the Seahawks in the SB and then the win in his second SB appearance with Denver he was just a shell of his younger self.) It has to be considered a disappointment that he has not made more SB appearances. Not anywhere close to being all on him, but he does deserve some of the criticism.

This thread has turned into watching two incredibly dumb people go at each other like they’re both 8 years old

Would not lay 100% of the blame on Rogers for that loss even though he did only lead one TD drive.....but he does get more than half the blame because of that. I'll go 51%

Up 10-3 with 6:10 left Rogers got the ball and went 0-1

At 10-10

Rogers got the ball with 4:26 left at the GB 29
He went 1-3 for 4 yards and they punted

Garoppolo got the the ball with 3:20 left at the SF 29
He went 2-2 for 26 yards to get the ball into GB territory en route to the win

Rogers had the ball twice late in the 4th quarter with a chance to ice or win the game and went 1-4 for 4 yards without a first down

Garoppolo had the ball once and went 2-2 for 26 yards and had 4 first downs

Green Bay has had 30 years of Favre-Rodgers and has the same number of superbowls as the Ravens with Dilfer and Flacco

A lot of Packers did not show last night outside of Adams and Jones. Cobb? Lazard?

Green Bay is old school, tough NFLfootball. I’ve never been a Rodgers fan though. He may be talented but he comes off as a sanctimonious jerk.

The 49ers drafted Alex Smith over Aaron Rogers and since that time have played in more superbowls and are 4-0 against GB in the playoffs

That kinda shows that it isn't all about QB play, right?

if you are one of the top seeds because of a generational defense (Ravens) and the defense plays like that generational unit during the playoffs you win superbowls … and Flacco put up MVP type numbers in that playoff run (he wasn’t a great QB but played great during that super bowl run)

when you are one of the top seeds because of MVP QB play during the season and in the playoffs your QB play is average or just above average you don’t win superbowls

Rogers was 1-4 for 4 yards in GBs last 2 possessions with a chance to seal or win the game

Not sure a measure of making it to a SB is a great metric. Wins are really what should matter.

There have been just over 30 super bowl winning QBs in history. Seems like a pretty damn big accomplishment to win win no matter who the QB is.

In my view Rodgers has the talent to be with the top tier of QBs all time, but his lack of winning in big games holds him back in the pack with a bunch of others.
