Back to back. 4 time NFL MVP. Only Peyton has more. Now he just needs another SB win before he retires. Only Peyton Manning has won five MVPs, and it was Manning who handed Rodgers the award onstage at the NFL Honors awards show in Los Angeles. Rodgers, 38, became the fifth player in NFL history to win the award in consecutive seasons, joining Manning, Brett Favre, Joe Montana and Jim Brown.

Especially in that 13-10 loss to San Fran and Jimmy Garoppolo at home when he threw for 225 yards and lost.
He'll go down as the most overrated QB of all time
You act like he's Dan Marino and never won a SB. He's got one under his belt. With his talent, yes he should have more, but he's not the reason the Pack lost. Peyton has 5 MVPs and 2 SB wins. You say he's overrated too? Favre, also 1 SB win and 4 MVPs. Overrated too? Favre threw three times as many interceptions as A-Rod.

Rodgers has played in 21 playoff games and has thrown for 5894 yards, 45 TDs, and 13 INTs. If you adjust that to 17 games like the regular season, that’s a 4771 yard, 36 TD, 11 INT season.
For reference, he just won MVP with a 4115 yard, 37 TD, 7 INT season.
His postseason play throughout his career is on par with his MVP season this year, despite the fact that defenses are much tougher in the playoffs, yet the narrative is he sucks in the playoffs. Lol.
He played like **** against SF this year. That isn’t the norm for him though. In the rest of his losses he’s averaged 25 points. Yes, in his losses. That’s called ****** defense.
For comparison Brady’s 17 game playoff averages are 4720 yards, 31 TDs, 14 INTs. He averaged 19 points in his losses.
He’s the GOAT but it takes some luck to accomplish what Brady did. Rodgers has been unlucky in the form of horrible defenses most his career. Not everything about a QB can be reduced to wins.
Zero turnovers on his part. Missed FG, TE fumbled driving for 6. Blocked punt for TD. Did he play great? No. He didn't lose them the game. He beat the Rams, Bengals, and Niners during the regular season. He carries the Pack. You take him off and they aren't even a playoff team.

An mvp superstar QB should get you more than 10 pts. Sorry, yes his team has deficiencies, but he also deserves some blame for his team's playoff failures over the past decade.
You guys are something. I'm not a fan of Rodgers. Loved Favre, but Rodgers numbers are up there at the top. I was pissed when he was acting like a whiny ***** and then went out and put zero effort in the Week 1 loss. However, he went on to tear it up the remainder. Love him or hate him, he's among the best. Four MVPs and you think he's overrated? He's got a ring so he's in the conversation. I like Manning a lot more than Rodgers and they both only had one SB win before Manning walked into his second SB with the move to Denver to cap off his career.
Yep. It’s funny, the “Wins are all that matter” guys never seem to believe Eli Manning was better than Rodgers and Brees, Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson were better than Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Dan Fouts, etc. They apply their standard lazily.
There’s something to be said for leadership, no doubt. But I don’t think Rodgers lacks terribly in that department. If he had a couple more SBs people would say his cold personality is what kept his teams focused. All these labels are applied after the fact.
I mean come on, does Eli Manning really ooze leadership and killer instinct? He doesn’t come off that way to me. But he put together two of the most famous drives in NFL history. Sometimes it’s just chance. He threw a couple good balls at the right moment.

Anyone hating on Aaron Rodgers is an absolute tool. One look at his TD to INT ratio compared to the all time greats is all you need to see. His only problem is his idiot organization drafting a QB in the first round that was a total reach. They passed on Jonathan Taylor and several WR’s in that draft that could have helped them. That idiot decision is why they are not in the SB this year

Again, it doesn't matter what some fans personally think of him. You don't go into the hall if you don't have the numbers to back it up. I think people should try and be objective and understand the body of work Rodgers has put in and put their biases aside. I'm by no means a Packers fan but I appreciate great talent when I see it and this man is extremely talented, that's all I'm saying.

He's also a HOF'er in the asshat department and with his mouth and opinion on everything and his issues with seemingly everyone, he's going to hear it when he loses.
I think people should try and be objective and understand the body of work Rodgers has put in and put their biases aside. I understand you may not like him but his talents are unquestionable and people don't care for him because he talks about issues outside of football and in that regard he is no different than artists that speak out about issues. Put the social issues aside and look at him purely based on his body of work not on whether you think he's an "asshat" as you state. I will stand by my remarks and you by your remarks and leave it at that.
