Are our guys just not conditioned? They seem to stand a lot and have no designed offensive plays.
They always hit this stretch of being lazy on offense and just shooting jumpers. When they start taking the ball to the goal more, they score and get offensive rebounds as well.
If they weren't hitting over 60% from 3 we would be up by 10. That should fix itself in the next half when they tire.
We look terrible in end of half / game situations. Carter didn’t pass the ball that possession before taking a deep 3.
They have to quit just shooting jumpers as the clock ends AND block that big commie out on defense.
Barnes knows how to beat Howland. He runs the same defense every time he plays us and our guys don't handle the manhandling well.
Carter should be sit immediately every time he does that crap. He does it often
Well to be fair, that is our offense. UT moves the bell around, passing it. Our guys dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, then when the play clock gets low, they either Jack it or fumble it and we occasionally find the fumbled ball and get a score.
You know what that makes us?

Tenn shooting over 50% and 55% from 3 when they have not been shooting well at all. We have to pick up the defense.

Great start to the 2H from Weatherspoon. Pushing the action and getting the ball down low. UT has 7 fouls in 6 minutes in large part to his play even though it’s been Perry and Ado at the line.
D. J. Stewart might be the X factor for the rest of the season. Putting together his best SEC game right now on both sides of the court

He’s so damn athletic and quick. Good touch around the rim too. When the deep ball starts falling for him, damn, he impossible to guard. Really opens up our offense.
