Is that even possible anymore with Kirk in charge? Looking back over the series history there's been 3 HF style beatdowns of ISU in 27 years, the last one in 2016. If KF gets up by 14 or more he goes into turtle mode hoping to preserve the W. Unless there's a bunch of pick 6s I don't see it happening, no matter how down ISU is.

Bingo. "Could be", yes. But...well, we all know the rest. KFz's game plan has always been "keep it close". Unfortunately that cuts both ways.

Looks like Santa is emptying his sack before he gets to Ames. Lost their best remaining recruit in Bandauer too. They’re banking on Roger’s bringing his WAZZU recruits who collectively didn’t hold another single P4 offer.

Bacon was a walk-on from Lake Mills, IA and even he’s bailing. Not a good look for Rogers losing a guy like that.
