Robic and dj Wagner would hurt the worst. And then obviously any of the other players (if they do well there, especially dontaie). I bet about half of that list comes to fruition.

T-minus until someone starts a thread with "I read somewhere that Sharpe was transferring to UL to play for Kenny Payne."
He's transferring to UL, but he intends to sit out the year. Wants to get acclimated to the new surroundings first.

Now if Chin to UL happens then hat will hurt.
I'll be surprised if Coleman is still at UK next season. He and Calipari are NOT on the same page. Their public confrontations on the sidelines this season may be indicative of bigger issues.

Regarding all these defections and transfers...so far it's just wind. But, IF Payne is successful at UofL and some of Calipari's former players are there putting up big numbers, it's going to get even more ugly around the UK program.
I don't even want to think about what will happen if UofL beats us a few times with a former Calipari assistant at the helm.

Listen Calipari creates enemies. It’s his entire persona. This guy is taking us down and we still have about 25% of the fan base that has no idea what’s going on.

Nike - now enemy
NBA - tons of enemies
Umass - recently made up but we’re an enemy
Memphis - don’t get me started
Kentucky - working on enemy
Robic - long time friend, now enemy

This is who he is. The problem for Calipari is he can’t do to UK what he’s done to everyone else but he’s a mad maniac. He won’t see it any more than the small Cal brigade who doesn’t see what he’s doing to us.

Calipari will go down WITH his program this time. We’re too big. And with him losing all of the recruits he wants, assistants to rivals, lock recruits to rivals etc, Kentucky won’t go quietly. I think we’re both in for a rude awakening. We sold our soul to win and the devil is coming to collect. But because we’re so big, we’re damaging HIS BRAND while he damages his programs brand THIS TIME.

Cal, you’re going with us mf. Your image is toast right along with ours. Look around.
Bingo spot on brother!

Everybody I know that is a UK fan wants Cal gone. I do not know one supporter.
That's my experience as well. In fact, I have one friend that walked away from the program 5-6 years ago. He saw what Calipari was back then and tried to warn me. Took me another 3-4 years to see the light.

Many of my other friends no longer even watch games on TV. Most of them were part of a larger group that used to attend the SEC tourney regularly. Another friend has lower arena seats at Rupp and would like to get out of them but, his K Fund contribution is so large he feels like he should get something for all that money. Just unreal what is happening inside the fanbase right now. But, some idiots just don't want to believe it.

Also said there was a 99% chance Sharpe was going to play vs Mississippi State..
That was mainly Ryan being completely stupid.

I like his energy and passion, but he acts like an overgrown child on there half the time. Sometimes it’s funny (ala Jackass stunts) but most times it’s like “Dude, really?”

Theres a reason Robic is no longer at UK ..I’m surprised it seems people on here don’t know . He won’t end up at Uof L
He and his wife went through HELL losing their daughter. Robic just needs to worry about himself and enjoy his life as much as it’s possible.

I feel sorry for him.

So you signed up today just to say that ? Then you must know something. Go ahead, spill the beans .
If I had to guess. Losing his daughter affected his job performance. You can just only superficially imagine how hard that is to cope with.

As I said earlier. Robic needs to worry about him and his family for awhile. Personally, I’d tell the world to go screw itself and find a nice mountain cabin at that point.

I feel sorry for him also. No one should ever have to go through losing a child.

And to cancer at that. Not that it matters losing a child is horrid no matter how. But having to watch the slow decline of your adult child?

That’s the kind of stuff I argue with the Father at wee hours of the morning when I can’t sleep.

I don’t know. Some personality types need to stay busy after something like that . Sometimes you can have “too much “ time to sit and think .

Yeah but take it from me who did that after losing my Mom. If you don’t make space for it? It will find you and be ten times worse. Grief has to be confronted and worked through. No going around it whatsoever.

And the only word for grief? Is sucks.

I’ve been a member for a long time , previously . I go back to the old wildcat faithful board , as far as this sort of stuff ...I just forgot all my sign on stuff and started a new account ....
Anyone on the Lexington weekend social scene knows what Robic’s issues are. He was demoted several times . Agree about losing a daughter ...I can’t imagine . I feel bad for him ...I just don’t think he’ll wind up at UL is all I was saying . He’s under contract at UK and getting paid plus insurance thru June , I believe

Robic is headed there..... he felt was really mistreated by Cal so....
There are others with a UK experience headed there as well...
I think Robic wanted and needed a change. During the long (hell period) of watching his daughter suffer and eventually die, he was given, and took, the opportunity to take on a lesser role. Cal did nothing wrong to Robic . Some on this board are unbelievable.

It was just hinted at on KSR. Acted like it was something that is probably gonna happen. Milt Wagner too. So theoretically, all of the following could end up there/have been rumored to be possibilities:

Robic
Justus
DJ Wagner
Hopkins
Ware
Dontaie
Skyy
Good for Coach Robic!

Read the article with the quote from Robics wife a few months ago that was on KSR. Idk what happened but they weren’t happy that he had to leave the program. Regardless, I feel really sorry for them and wish their family the best.

I can tell you for sure, Robic certainly thinks he was screwed over. And if Robic was telling the truth, he was not treated very nicely by Cal.

Of course it was. It was just a ploy to rake in ratings as MJ sticks something out their to bring in the listeners. Lemond is a fawn to MJ and gets him to do the monkey dances so he doesn't look like a fool.

If that is accurate, then I hope he does go to UL with KP.

I have the same feelings about MJ as I do with Ryan. MJ is intelligent and can be well spoken. But he can be arrogant. But give him credit. He built KSR from nothing so that’s to be applauded.
And he has thanked the fans many many times.

Matt is a good dude. Just gets a little heated some times.

I think it’s a two-way thing . Maybe Robic felt slighted , but he contributed heavily to everyth that happened . Why do you think he slid from associate coach down to an administrative role at the end ?

I respect what Jones has done with Kentucky Sports Radio and appreciate an alternative point of view compared to what most in the UK media present to us who are afraid to be critical of the powers that be. He has good intentions and loves his Cats but the condescending attitude at times to the fans who give him the platform he has today and always needing to be right can be a turnoff. To his credit, he has lightened up some from his early days. In times like these or in important issues in College Basketball his insight can be reassuring at times.

He’s waaaaay more level headed than he used to be.

Fans should cut him some slack. He’s a lawyer by nature. Loves to argue. Good lawyers do.

I enjoy KSR most days. I even enjoy when they talk about wrestling and some Kentucky stories. Even if they’re about house bills or Granny’s recipies from childhood. It’s like hanging out at a general store porch, shooting the breeze. And most people like that as that’s pure Kentucky.

I believe I was being fair to him and not putting his head on the chopping block like most do on a routine basis. Everyone has their positives and negatives. His positives are enough to have me routinely listen more often than not.
