Conferences don't have officials.

They're independent contractors, most of which regularly work games in multiple different conferences.

This is a big part of the problem with officiating.

you’re right yeah in basketball they don’t. my bad. seems like we see adams and greene 3-4 times each but that’s probably due to living proximity.

I tried to see if there was any footage of this on the ESPN App. The game is searchable under Replays in 2 formats, regular and Above the Rim. The latter does have a few seconds of the handshake line.

I can’t see any skirmishes per se, but one man at the table, 2 over from Tom Leach, does appear to stand up and glare at our players as they pass by.

Another, the one in a referee uniform, is visibly upset and pointing, causing some commotion with those around him, apparently right after our assistant coaches walk by. Robic isn’t in the shot at all times but it’s clear he’s just passed by. Everything happens in the span of a few seconds. Perhaps someone else might catch something if you take a look at the last few seconds.

Of course it will. It usually is. Cal should have at least two more titles here but for awful officiating. Probably three or four more.

On a neutral court with quality officiating, we would have won this game by 10-15. Taking nothing away from TT, a quality team. But we were too long and athletic for them.
