I think we get him and it’s a huge pickup. He gives you two key things that are hard to find a guy who can get his own shot and a elite PG. Biggest signing we had last few years other than the guy drafted first last night.
He doesn't have to come and be a big contributor his first year, but you run the risk of him transferring

So many kids jump around between grade levels now it’s hard to keep up, but Murray and Sharpe were both 18 and Dillingham would only be 17.
Dillingham would turn 18 at the start of the second semester, so he isn’t super young.
It is. Younger than me and my son's when we started or will start college, all 3 turning 18 early 1st semester. When you consider some FR are 19, maybe even turning 20 before end of 2nd semester.

Just Wagner has a bigger build and a better defender .
Offensively it seems like a push. They actually could play together but it looks like that won’t happen
I think Dilly is better on offense. Maybe not by much but splitting hairs here. Wagner is bigger but he’s not necessarily some lock down defender either.

Nerlens Noel, Isaac Humphries, Ashton Hagans, Johnny Juzang, and Terrence Clarke all re-classified. They were all 18 and joining their original classes, unlike Dillingham.
Also Tai Wynyard (only to redshirt) and Hamidou Diallo (only to redshirt)
So two injuries, a discipline issue, and Humphires )who wasn’t bad).
Still not a great track record.

Thanks. I haven’t watched either one play a game – just some short video clips. Wagner looked a little more solidly built, but Dillingham looked a little more “loose” in his movement, if that makes sense. That, of course, tells you next to nothing. I think as posters watch him more now it would be interesting to hear what you/they/we have to say about Dillingham’s game.

I just think it’s dirty to do Cal like that regarding the Wagner family but I realize it’s recruiting. Hell, Cal probably gave him his blsssing to go to UL.
You still got it right though. Rob is more flashy than DJ . DJ has a lil flash to his game but he’s more about getting to his spots as soon as possible and exploding to the basket . Rob game is more flashy and he seems like more of a PG while DJ is a combo guard . There have been Darius Garland comparisons thrown out there for Rob which would be great for us .

I feel the exact same way . I’m holding out slight hope but reality starting to set in . I said from the get go I didn’t get why fans were so confident even when rumors were flying that Louisville would hire Milt in some way . With all that said I still had some hope but it gets smaller and smaller with each update lol.
