Surprised he went to New Zealand, China had offered 2 million however im sure nz is more American friendly

OT debate.. Which provides better competition? I'd imagine NZ produces more physically sound basketball players.. But China does love their hoops, a lot because of Yao. A lot of NBA players spent time over there.. Beasley, fredette, Francis and Marbury come to mind.

I think China has less comp because for the most part the Asian basketball talent is low. Genetics still play a big role.

I would go with China, I was about to make the point a lot of nobody’s and has been s play there. They look at Marbury as the greatest thing ever. Hell, he could demand they kill Kim jung un so he could become dictator of North Korea and China would for him.

Its not about exposure for the draft. The top prospects are going to be watches by scours wherever.

Look at how much zions brand is worth brcause of one year in college. Espn, the tournament, televised game . He just got offered a contract by master p for non basketball shoes.

You dont get that overseas. You dont get "BROW DOWN" or the john wall dance.
The two that did it didn’t end up going high as they could’ve in the draft !

I guess I get the backlash for making it public on a live tv program, but I don’t blame a person for keeping their options open until they are absolutely sure/have to make a decision. Anyone who is smart would do the same thing.

I'd go play in Italy for a year.

Take in a beautiful Italian lover and open a winery. I'd make sweet love to her on the winery grapes each night out under the open sky and pour red wine down the crevices of her voluptuous curves.

Within two years, we'd make a love child together, and when my NBA career was underway, I'd return in the summer to teach my little bastard children the finer ways of the world by reading them classic literature and making them take up fencing, painting, and banjo playing.

It would be great.

RJ choose NZ, not because of what it has but because of what it doesn't have... classwork. He flat said he didn't want to go to classes anymore. Since UNC was all out of scholarships, there isn't a college left that has attendance waivers.
