To continue the IHSA run - Luke Adams 3B from Hinsdale Central, drafted by the Brewers in the 12th round. I would assume he will continue to Michigan State instead.Saw that. Pretty incredible!
Oswego East also had a pitcher go in the first round. Impressive year for IHSA baseball.
According to the full draft list on the MLB website, Jack Lausch was not drafted.Jack Brannigan, Marist alum that played for ND got picked in the 3rd round.
Any word on Lausch? Did he make it clear he was all in Football for now?
Lausch made it pretty clear that if he wasnt in top 4 rounds he was going NW. Heck playing Big10 baseball is on par with High A so he'll do great at NWAccording to the full draft list on the MLB website, Jack Lausch was not drafted.
Maybe the SEC but even that is stretch but the B10 no way.Lausch made it pretty clear that if he wasnt in top 4 rounds he was going NW. Heck playing Big10 baseball is on par with High A so he'll do great at NW
Yes… MAYBE the SEC. Just like in football, there are players on Power 5 baseball teams that will never play pro ball at any level. A college player may rise through the pro levels quicker than a non-college player, but that is more attributed to the age, maturity, and baseball acumen.Maybe the SEC but even that is stretch but the B10 no way.
That’s not true..B10 is not = to high A.Lausch made it pretty clear that if he wasnt in top 4 rounds he was going NW. Heck playing Big10 baseball is on par with High A so he'll do great at NW
