Agree Rivera will/should win..... Del was a 5th year senior vs a true Frosh(who finished 16-20 that year). Last year as a Redshirt soph Sherman finished 27-5-think he might have improved since then.

Can’t imagine they are in same league though. Rivera is/was NC contender who’s beaten Lee, etc. obviously no opponent taken for granted by have to think he should handle him easily.

UNC event is live on FiteTv two different events.Ashnault will wrestle on the Flo event.UNC is looking for a replacement

According to social media, the Flo contract prohibited AA from participating in other competitions prior to the Flo event, which is similar to MMA and boxing contracts, so that's why he was removed from UNC event.

Nope. The 150 lb 8 man challenge is 12/18, not 12/4. You may be thinking of the RTC cup which is 12/4-5.

Gross is really good but super boring. Very defensive, not physical at all and any chance he’s in danger of giving up points he puts himself in a potentially dangerous situation. Micic is similar. Can’t stand it.

Suriano, while defensive, is at least very physical and doesn’t bail himself out

I think it’s awesome that you have all these former national champs and all Americans and the main event is a women’s match. Women’s matches in UFC have become normalized, I’m hoping NCAA wrestling can eventually do the same.

It would be huge if RU could be at the forefront of bringing women's wrestling to the NCAA in D1. There is a ton local talent in surrounding states that would flock to RU and make it a powerhouse instantly with some forethought and the right investment. It would have a ton of support from the NJRTC due to Chris and Lori Ayres dedication to the cause as well.

David Taylor came inches from losing to Gabe Dean tonight. Didn’t look so unstoppable but found a way to pull it out. JB keeps it close and I can see him taking him out yet again as long as he can handle the weight differential.

Watched both events tonight and I thought Gilman looked the best and called out Spencer Lee.
