As I mentioned the other day, Rutgers target SG Aundre Hyatt dropped 36 spots in the newest rankings.

Rutgers commit & guard Paul Mulcahy has moved up three spots.

Did his injury make him drop so far? Seems to be getting a lot of attention to drop 36 spots in the rankings

He dropped due to a combination of his play and the play of guys ranked behind him and a couple of previously unranked guys.

IIRC Harper committed in August & signed in November 2017. He debuted in the final ranking of the class of 2018 Rivals150. Which was published in April 2018.
Russ, where would RU’s 2018 recruitment rank in conference? Thanks.

And I just got done posting in another thread about what a great sense of humor you had. I even gave you a hint::). So disappointed you didn't catch that one Russ.

My bad I didn't even see the emoji. My mind is a little fried & my sense of humor is usually the first casualty when that happens.

Rankings updates do that to me. The deadlines, the back-and-forth discussions about players, the upset high school and, in particular, the AAU coaches who feel their players should be ranked higher and go on rants hyping their kid(s) for 15 minutes and then say "You know me Russ, I'm not one of these coaches who hypes his players."

I looked at the Rivals Big Ten rankings and was amazed at the number of 4 star basketball players from mIchigan. I never realized it was that strong in high school basketball..

Detroit and its suburbs has lots of talent, Flint typically does as well. The Family (Nike EYBL) and the Michigan Mustangs (adidas Gauntlet) are two of my favorite programs to watch when I'm at tournaments.

Ron Harper is exceeding my expectations by a country mile in workouts.

He's got some work to do on his body, but he's an impressive talent with the basketball
He looked a little slim in the photo that was taken. Does his size look like it can play right now in the big ten (he's probably better off than freshman thiam I'm assuming)

He’s plenty strong. Needs to be in better shape, and grow into his body a bit more. Long arms and huge hands, but lacks definition.

He’s a hard worker and a fiery guy...he has the drive to get it done.

If we could could get Omoruyi from Roselle, and he's ready to come in and rebound and block shots, that would be seemingly the perfect fit for what our 2020 team will need.

Great to hear. I'm sure good genes don't hurt either!
