I was able to read his full obituary this morning. I always enjoyed and appreciated his work, but I didn't know how much his passion for what he did extended beyond what we read online. He truly cared about the athletes he covered and wanted to see them succeed and find a spot on a college roster - whether they were a high profile recruit or not. I feel like he was just scratching the surface of what he could do to help others. Just a tremendous loss - we need more guys like Todderick Hunt in the world.

This is a real punch in the gut.
We were Facebook buddies and exchanged email messages from time-to-time. I ran a number of articles that I had written by him and he always took the time to respond. He was generous and gracious to a fault.
He loved his wife and kids above all else.
My deepest condolences to the Hunt family.
