This is a shocker. I was wondering what happened to him just recently. I was a regular reader of his nj.com articles.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends at this most difficult time.

Awful news. Met him once at a practice. Good dude and willing to talk RU football with anyone. RIP Mr Hunt!!!

Horrible news. Always liked his recruiting articles and felt he was positive and fair. I felt he reported on Rutgers like more scribes should have.

Wow. My God way, way too young. Just 44. Beyond sad but was a great reporter and a supportive Rutgers man. RIP

Great on all of them, especially KMac. Guy is such a wonderful person. And Eric too- very nice gesture.
