RIP Richard J. "Doc" Sauers

Doc is Steve's dad. He's having a very difficult time right now as he was very close to his father. Even at his advanced age they did everything together. From golfing, yes even at 96, to watching sports together on TV.

Steve's mom is now in assisted living and she lives up in northern NY.

I've met both parents over the years and they were both delightful. Steve and his sister Cheryl were their reasons for living.

I was told that there were over 5000 people earlier in the day that lined up to see Doc in his coffin.
