It was pure genius. Maybe some of the younger guys on here have never seen the show and don't appreciate how great and funny it was.
The MTM Show, Bob Newhart Show, and Carol Burnett Show were the trifecta of greatness.. It is a sad sad day.
There were so many actors in that cast that had perfect comedic timing. Gawd, that was a great show!
Ted Baxter ruled! Hard to believe Ted Knight has been gone almost 30 years.
She was funny, pretty, and stirred feelings us pubescent boys hadn't had before when she strutted around the Petrie's New Rochelle apartment in her tight pedal-pushers (the 1960 version of yoga pants). On top of that, she probably made killer cups of strong coffee to help Dick Van Dyke sober up before shooting.
