Started reading Lonesome Dove the day after LM died. Didn’t take long to finish. Have always been a big fan of the mini-series. I was really impressed by how little of the book didn’t make the TV version. I did enjoy the written version a lot. Nice to get inside the minds of the characters, rather than just hearing what they say. He was a special author.
