We've lost another one to cancer. graystork, aka Dave, was a long time member of both this board and TOS back when it was Scout. A very bright individual who gave up his law profession to become a teacher.
Wow - sorry to hear this. I remember him posting. May he RIP.

I remember him as a good poster. I'm not surprised to learn that he was a good person as well. Condolences to his family and friends!

RIP graystork. I interacted with him quite a lot on the scout board 10-15yrs ago. He was an interesting guy.

Was it graystork who broke the news on board of impending move of RU to the BIG?

Thanks for sharing, but damn that really sucks. He was an excellent poster and sounds like he lived a full life, but cut way too short. Sounds like he did what 2 of my best friends at Merck did - got tired of the corporate rat race and spent their last 10-15 years of their work lives teaching high school science classes (fellow chem E's). Both said they had no regrets and it sounds like Dave felt similarly.
