Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall, and Lee Marvin all turned down the role Dennehy ended up playing in Rambo. After the movie became a smash hit, I'm betting each wished they could have a do over on that.

He once played Bob Knight in a made-for-TV movie. Despite the movie being terrible, Dennehy was still good. He was also great in the role of John Wayne Gacy, even though it was also a crappy, low-budget TV movie.
