Best manager the Braves ever had! 14 straight division titles is ridiculous! Prayers out to his family.
Ted Turner and Bobby back to back. I remember being about 8 years old and always turning it on TBS for either Braves baseball, NWA Wrasslin, or Andy Griffith.

Bobby's return to Atlanta as GM in 86 before moving to the dugout when Schuerholz arrived a few years later set things in motion for the incredible run that began in '91 and built a legacy that has carried through to present day. RIP, Bobby.
Very true. While I loved the Braves of the 80s, I can't tell you how many summer nights I stayed up til 1 or 2 AM watching them lose to the Giants or Dodgers in the old NL West. My 20 yr old son only knows the Braves as the best team in the NL East, and that success all started with Bobby Cox. RIP.
