Teddy Roosevelt? She performed for the largest Presidential inauguration in the history of the United States.
I was a radio DJ in Ravenswood while in high school...when I left for college my brother took the job. As a result we got free tickets to just about every event at the old Charleston Civic Center, everything from rock to country to big time rasslin.......some highlights.......David Bowie descended from a large white hand that came down from the civic center ceiling and went right in to "Ground Control to Major Tom......another was the final concert where you could smoke (legally or illegally) in the civic center. That night it was Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Emmy Lou Harris and the Hot Band...Ricky Skaggs was in her band...that's how long ago it was...ushers were passing joints across the aisle that night....other highlights were Jimmy Buffetts first concert after he broke his leg (Margaritaville) and the Doobies and EW&F........you may think this funny but the best stage show and best performance I ever saw there was The Carpenters.....they hit it out of the park....Good TimesYou just don't stalk me well.
