Is there a riot in Morgantown right now?

There appears to be a disturbance in Sunnyside.

Check twitter for some fun videos of cops shooting college kids with what looks like paint ball guns.

Correction: It is on Spruce St.

I suppose this will be good for the 2019 party school rankings. Doesn't do much for anything else but there's the silver lining, I guess.

My bad, I was told the police was actually interacting and playing with the students....uh, I was wrong, just read the story...not good....I apologize, that's why I deleted...my bad sukeers

Back in my day we called that a get-together.

We would get drunk and go sled riding down the hill behind Woodburn....we didnt have sleds so we used trash bags.

The Morgantown Chapter of the "Sons of Barney Fife" continue to add to their sterling reputation.

We would use old sections of paneling salvaged from trash piles for sledding down hills and icy streets. Less drag and more durable than a garbage bag

School got called off. Students were bored, the snow was flying and a drunk get together started to happen. City crews tried to scrape and salt the street and students wouldnt allow it. Thats what got it started from what I heard. It just got worse when cops showed up.
