9-3 (5-3).

This wool is itchy. Honestly though, there were 3 games I saw as a toss-up that I leaned "win" on - Auburn, UGA and Houston. Even winning just 1 of those 3, we'd still win 7 and go bowling. I think the other 6 wins are definitely doable. And let's be honest, I said loss, but we are capable of beating LSU as long as The Hat patrols the other sideline.

We will probably need to go take one from Houston in Houston though. I think we take either @ OM or @ LSU, and also a decent chance against Auburn. They will all be beatable, especially since LSU loses their big downfield threat in Lafell. I dont know if we can get to 8 wins. It all depends on how talented we actually end up. We wont know how much of an impact these JUCO guys will make, and what other freshman we get that will make an impact. We've got a good core of speed coming in, and I think we have a real shot at taking 7-8 of the top 10 recruits in the state.

I'm going way out on a limb and say that we go to Florida and hand them an upset at home. I BELIEVE!!!!!!!

If Case Keenum declares for the NFL draft, I will predict this to be a W for us, but not until. That boy can play a little.

If Cam Newton is nearly as good as what he is expected to be, then 8 wins is not at all a stretch. Even with no passing game at all this year, we should have been 6-6 or 7-5 (based on games that we blew). Surely Cam Newton would not only clean those games up, but also provide us with a little bit more.

but they wont do it. Tebow, McCoy, the RB from Stanford, and Mark Ingram. I think they will leave out Keenum, which is a shame because he played fantastic all year. Probably won't invite him for the same reasons they never invited Timmy Chang from Hawaii. Too many yards and touchdowns against not good enough competition.

Mullen came in here and reeled off a 5-7 (- the midget 7-5) season with the toughest schedule in the nation.... that record would have been Crxxm's second best in 5 years i just think with who we have coming in possibly Cam, Carmon and the Class and progression of our key players we already have..... 8 wins next year

I think we upset Florida but somehow lose to Auburn and LSU and Alabama. I could see us beating Auburn, but losing to Mississippi since it is a road game. Also, I think predicting a 2 loss season is just too damn woolly.

Picked us at 3-4 wins this year, so Mullen slightly exceeded my expectations. But there are still a lot of pieces that need to fall into place (both for us and our opponents) before I'm ready to make more than a preliminary prediction. Besides, I'm still on an Egg Bowl high.

I think we can take LSU, which would be sweet in Death Valley (payback for Sleepy Robinson's knee)

Auburn will be a fight, but we will have home field advantage, but Chizik / Malzon will have a good plan

Florida, who knows, you just know they will be solid, maybe it will be their re-building year

Alabama, I really hate Saban

Arkansas, I think they will be dangerous, & I really don't like Ryan Mallet, I see him as a whiner, & think one day his team will turn on him & beat his ***

what makes most of you say we're getting by Ark? We never beat them, even in some of our "better" years. Now if Mallet is gone, then yeah I could possibly see it.

I have no idea whom we will beat or to whom we will lose but I'm going with 7-5.

If Newton Plays Like I know he can... and we land dorsey and all the other talented juco guys we go undefeated... Alabama's losing some key defensive players... LSU Is Gonna Be Beatable Anyway cause we came close this year... Houston Please We Should Have Won That Game... Florida Is Losing Tebow and not to mention almost all their defensive players... Georgia Is Not The Same Team They Used To be and were at home... I Think We Have Enough Fire Power next Year To beat Arkansas... And Memphis, UAB,Alcorn, Kentucky, Auburn, And Ole Miss Don't Stand A Chance... I think We Beat Auburn and Kentucky Next Year Because Were At Home And We will Have More Talent... And Hopefully Thats Good Enough To get us a SEC Title And A National Championship... Ha Ha Ha Just Praying For It

........six or more next season, but that's one hell of a jump to 9-3. From a purely objective standpoint, that's hard to see. Bowl eligibilty is a must though, and I believe anything less should be considered a failure. This year you take 5-7 with the schedule we had, and the players we had(like at QB). That's clear improvement. Next year we're going backwards if we win less than six.

but I think we should wait till mid December to see if we get Newton first to start predicting next season. That will be the key. I'll give us two more wins with Newton on board.
