His life outside of Kentucky has been shady and downright [poop] and I hope he turns his life around.

Hate to bust everyone's bubble but a retarded midget singing Bohemian Rhapsody could have coached the 98 team to a championship. Tubby did nothing but say he was the coach. The players were all recruited by Rick and he deserves all the credit of the 98 championship.

Rick Pitino was and is a great coach. In his younger days he got fans like me pumped up during games. He had that electric ability with his players that made you also pumped up.... However some of the things he did later in life I disagree with... Has Calipari done the same things? Opposing fans say yes, but I don't know... I think coaches have such a hard drive of winning they will attempt anything... Can you down a coach for wanting to win so bad? Hell no if thats your team. But the moral compass of it is wrong.
I remember racing dirt cars in the 80s... We'd cheat like crazy cause we wanted to win... I came to learn if you want to win you have to do things different. Is it right? Hell no lol...
But I try to be a realist in the aspect that goes on in all sports especially since more and more money is poured in it. Nowdays if you don't produce results in a few years with a high salary you're out the door... So obviously coaches will do things you're not supposed to do... I blame money especially coorporations, NCAA, etc for all this honestly
