Cal is in a different stratosphere than RB in recruiting and selling a program.

RB is a better basketball coach. As are two dozen coaches out there. Cal has never been considered a great teacher of basketball. He just isn't that. He's won at UK and Memphis by amassing superior talent and managing personalities- which is as important (maybe more so in today's game) as Xs and Os.
And he won at UMass by sorcery.

Look. We beat him AT Knoxville. And Cal made great adjustments during that game.

I don’t know what happened last night in the second half. But Cal wasn’t himself at all. You could see it on the sidelines.

Let’s chalk it up to what it was. A horrible night.

UG game will show how we recover or don’t.

Just ask yourself one question. Would you trade Cal for Barnes?

i don’t think any Kentucky fan in their right mind would make that trade and I haven’t seen anyone suggest they would. Barnes has just been an annoying thorn in our side. It’s frustrating to consistently play so poorly against an inferior opponent.

Exactly! Cal is the super bowl for inferior coaches. Crean,Barnes, and Ollie have winning records against him.
Hell, he's even lost to Johnny Jones and Steve Alford, that takes some doing.

Barnes has figured out what's been known about Calipari's teams for years..they're soft. He knows Calipari's been begging Richards to be more aggressive for 3 years. He gambled that whistles would be light last night and won, another time it may be different. As long as Calipari continues bringing in rail thin guys we'll see bangers pushing his guys around. Last night was embarrassing.

You know Wednesday’s are $5 sushi day at Kroger. They have damn good sushi for $5

That's right, "Blue wood", guess you better steal 5$ from your Mommy's pocketbook. I'd have this punk, "Blue wood" looking like sushi after I'm done with him.

Hey, i gave you a chance to back that mouth up, i can be there in 5 minutes

I can't be there in 5 minutes or even in 5 hours though, I live too far away. Lucky for you. I'm sure you were banking on that though.

Barnes is a fine coach. Lots of excellent coaches dont get final fours. Some really crappy ones do at times. Barnes UT teams always play hard for him.
Yes, RB is a good coach. He has over 700 career wins as a head coach and was named the Naismith College Coach of the Year last season. Before he came to UT, he was the all time winningest coach at Texas and even took the Longhorns to the final 4.

That is why I was hoping we would get Omoruyi for next year. Nobody will push him around. Instead we're looking at two starvin' Marvin types in EJ or Isaiah Jackson manning the middle next year. If that's the case then we will really get pushed around next year.
