Almost over the pure athletes who aren’t even close to good. News flash boys you can’t just out athlete everyone in college you actually have to play ball.
And our coach always sits on his hands like he doesn’t know what to do..... he probably don’t.

LOL Cal you got them boys playing well - nice scouting job - no shooters and the one you got can’t get in the game I guess Allen is still on team

Richmond is playing like they are not scared of getting a foul called on them, but us on the other hand is like we cannot move without a whistle

Well what can you say. Once again we look like **** to start a season. Fundamentals are lost on this bunch, at least as of right now.

Of course we will be much better in March but what worries me is we can't shoot the 3 or free throws.

Where the guy who said we would beat Gonzaga? Lol. Dude we rarely can count on beating anyone prior to late December with all cal teams. The way it is. Seems like we always lose 1 mid major and 1 high major we should bear before the Louisville game every year

Don’t want to hear the young excuse all season either. Cal chooses the players he wants and the way he wants to recruit. This is F-ing embarrassing

Chance to cut the lead to 7, Miss a FT and then let them go on a run and don’t score for 2+ minutes.

What the hell offense is this team running?

Richmond looks good. Playing with great energy and confidence. At this point in the season this seems like one of the worst offensive teams I’ve seen under Cal. Literally throwing it at the goal.

So, we’re now OK with losing to unranked teams at home? Richmond is OK, but it’s not like they’re Mich. St., Duke, or other powerhouses. We should never lose these games at home.
Richmond is mostly Seniors. We are all Freshmen who didn't even get the luxury of exhibition games due to the late season start.

This is pretty much expected.

But Cal got on us
Richmond is a really good team and at this point we are just a collection of really talented players. By the end of the year we will be a really good team. Just need time to put it all together. But outside shooting and free-throw shooting is going to be a problem all year.
This quote is a rinse and repeat since 2015. Too many early season inexcusable performances hurting seeding. At some point Cal is going to have to place value on continuity along with the other aspects of building a team.
