I don't feel one way or another about Pitino, but losing two key players the latter part of the season really hurt Minny. They weren't particularly deep, and Carr tried to do it all himself the last few games, which usually didn't work.

Little Ricky actually seemed like a descent guy and a players coach. Bought in some descent talent and got hurt by injuries...Would be surprised if Minnesota is relevant again in the next few years, not an ideal place with great tradition like Indiana

I'm not surprised at all regarding Pitino and Miller. Especially Miller. He IMO underachieved at IU and the fans were screaming bloody murder to get rid of him. Let's see if IU spends even bigger money to land a "star" coach or a favorite son like Alford.

I thought he did a nice job certainly this year. No hatred toward him.

Jr has done absolutely nothing to be lumped into any negative connotation..He was pretty transparent in his media dealings and seems well respected. Easy to hate on him for his last name but he has earned a good reputation on his own

I don’t think he’s a horrible coach, his teams have had horrible injury luck and coupled with Oturu leaving early killed them.

Seems like a stand up guy unlike his father. To assume he's a sleazeball just because of who his dad is seems very short sighted

I am glad Richard wound up with another job. I think he handled things pretty well this season. I wonder if Robbins will stay as he came to Minnesota because of his uncle I think being a friend of an assistant coach at Minnesota.

His uncle was an assistant on the team and his cousin was a walkon.
